Unity&#8217;s Web platform lets games and real-time 3D content run in a browser, on any internet connected device. Browser capability has moved fast, browser gaming is going through a revival, and the Unity Web runtime is what makes it possible. Our work also supports an exciting new partnership with a major platform, which puts what this team builds in front of audiences at a scale few browser platforms reach.<\/p>\n<p>In this role, you will own meaningful areas of the runtime outright. This is not website development. We embed Unity inside the browser, and the problems are the deep ones: making a single-threaded platform multi-threaded, cutting megabytes out of a build, getting a game playable in seconds rather than minutes.
