Lituanicon XXXVII: Voyage
October 10 @ 10:30 - 21:00
Free
Lituanicon is the oldest annual Lithuanian festival of all things fantastic. This is the place where fandom meets fantasy and science fiction, where we embrace and celebrate the literature, movies, comics and games we love.
When? XXXVII Lituanicon will take place on 2026.10.10.
Where? Kalvarijų St. 137E, Vilnius, Lithuania.
The event lasts one day and is filled with a great number of activities for everyone: talks by foreign and local speakers, RPG sessions, gaming (board, console and so on), competitions, workshops and many others.
The theme of Lituanicon XXXVII is VOYAGE.
A voyage is both a metaphor for the expansion of consciousness and a narrative template found in both ancient myths and works considered classics of fantasy; it is also a current reality linked to technological innovations and social changes, and it is always meaningful to discuss this from the perspective of fantasy.
Lituanicon will bring together Lithuanian fantasy enthusiasts, creators, artists, scholars, and representatives from the cultural and entertainment sectors to explore this broad and intriguing topic together. After all, one way to travel is through fantasy, which transforms reality in a way that allows us to see something familiar in a new light or to get closer to what is strange or distant.
Presentations, discussions, workshops, games, and more – on Saturday, October 10, in Vilnius.
